I wonder if they'll play her off as being to Ezio, what Maria was to Giovanni.

In other news, just read that apparently Ezio and Altair aren't related (or not directly)
Whatever loopholes/contradictions aside, wouldn't it be funny if it turned out Ezio was related to Malik (though very unlikely)?
I wonder if Sofia would a descendant of Altair's then. thus linking the bloodlines together....
According to the screen writer (who has yet to prove he's original screenwriter Corey May's equal), Desmond is most likely the unification of Altaïr and Ezio's line. This probably means (and I'll quote the guy) that Altaïr is perhaps an ancestor of his father's line and Ezio of his mother's.
